I forgot the real name, just call it Nachos. Mooon Cafe (Guadalupe, Cebu City)
Perfect way to start a meal. The tortillas are prepared at Mooon Cafe. They taste rather starchy but are not nakaka-umay. Topped with beef and super melty cheese.

Grilled chicken, Omakase (Libis, QC)
I better order this next time (my friend did). I think it’s teriyaki chicken too, with just the right amount of sweetness.

Bacon & Cheese Medley, Pancake House (SM Marikina)
They could’ve done better with the form of the cheese pancakes, but it was yummy anyways. Not included in the picture, brewed coffee and sunny side up egg with the meal.

Beef Burger, Banchetto (Emerald Ave., Mandaluyong City)
Not the fastfood variety, it had real beef and little extender just to put the meat together. Fair quarter pounder at Php70 but matabang. I’m still more curious about Billy’s mom’s Tropical Hut burger recipe.

Buttered Prawns, Shylin (Dampa, Macapagal Blvd )
This is an all time favorite when we’re having our eat-out sessions. Try having the paluto @ Trinity or Kainan sa Balanghay as well.

Bicol Express, Rex Tourist Inn (Caramoan, Camarines Sur )
They were able to let me eat this dish even it’s very spicy. :D All i can say is “MASIRAM” (masarap/delicious). For the price, well the food was included on the package at the place where we stayed in Caramoan.

Caramel Tarts, Banchetto (Emerald Ave., Mandaluyong City)
I was eyeing the leche flan or ref desserts this stall had, but I eventually settled for these tarts which looked more special. The salesgirl recommended these ones with caramel filling instead of macapuno which I initially wanted “para hindi nakakasawa.” It’s super nakakasawa and I can taste the baking soda (?). They’re still sitting in my ref.

Inihaw na Liempo, Banchetto (Emerald Ave., Mandaluyong City)
Classic is Classic. Liempo + rice = PhP60. I didn’t understand, though, why the guy who was grilling it on the stove top put ketchup on the usual serving. I requested he got rid of that and asked for vinegar instead. Good as always but less the on-the-spot preparation or smoky charcoal aroma.

Arroz-caldo, KFC (Somewhere in SLEX, Parañaque?)
Breakfast on my way to the beach at Laiya. And when you haven’t had anything for the day, everything tastes good. Had an unexpectedly big chicken swimming in there too.

Chips n Salsa, Chili’s, Greenhills, San Juan

A staple pulutan because it’s refillable for the price of P300.00. Perfect for your beer or cocktail drinks. It’s good for 4 people. And did I say refillable?

Beef It Up!, Kitchen Greenbelt (Makati)
If you look past the crappy photo, this sandwich from that posh restaurant in GB3 is actually quite good. Packed with beef, caramelized onion, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and mayo. Comes with a breadstick (?) of sorts on the side to nibble at and dipping sauce. Perfect with Kitchen’s Mint Iced Tea.
Total damage: PhP205.

Takoyaki, Japsy Foods at Banchetto (Emerald Ave. Ortigas, Mandaluyong City)
The girl was just pouring the creamy mixture that will become these balls when I passed by their stalls, so I stalled a little, waiting for Joyce’s burger to cook. When I turned around a moment a later, they were already perfectly round. Looked perfectly good with all the garnish I don’t even recognise, haha! Had this for the second time after our Kozui trip. Extra seafoody, although I probably should have waited for it to cook a little bit; the inside were so gooey. I don’t know if that’s suppose to be a Japanese thing.

After the swine-dining, we got desserts. The line was quite long in that place. Here’s what we ordered:

1. Green tea with red beans
2. Original with kiwi, mango and grapes
3. Original with mango and peaches
4. Green tea with mango and kiwi
5. Original with chocolate chips and muesli

Totally healthy. Totally yummy. Total bill: P540.00
